Book-Keeper
Reports to:
General Manager
Objective:
The Book-keeper is relied upon to keep complete, up-to-date, and accurate records of accounts and financial arrangements. An individual of this position possesses the required administrative and accounting skills needed to enhance the company's overall operations. She/he works closely with the general manager providing financial consulting as well as accurate and relevant information required to create future budgets and necessary financial decisions.

- Proficient in the use of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Excel
- Experienced with TGS

Broad Responsibilities:
Clerical:
- Post, verify and reconcile all payables and receivables
- Prepare and mail monthly billing statements
- Responsible for bank deposits and the administration of monetary funds
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Administer tax related duties
- Complete employee payroll
- Prepare financial statements periodically
- Maintain clean and up-to-date filing system
- Other miscellaneous bookkeeping related tasks as needed
Budgeting and Planning:
- Suggest improvements in processes to increase effectiveness
- Encourage and contribute to positive change within the company
- Meets task and project objectives within prescribed quality and time standards
- In conjunction with the President and the General Manager, formulate the fiscal revenue, expense and profit goals for the company
Customer Relations:
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional manner through diplomacy and assertiveness
- Monitor, identify and take action relative to delinquent accounts in a timely and utmost professional manner
- Maintain open and positive relations with customers and suppliers
- Carry on the companies positive reputation for excellent customer service and flexibility
